Managed Networks powers national NBN coverage for Activeport Global Edge

Activeport Group (ASX: ATV) has integrated its Global Edge network-as-a-service platform with the NBN, unlocking national reach for its self-service connectivity products. The integration runs on Managed Networks’ NBN POI backhaul, which connects Global Edge to 121 points of interconnect across Australia.

Announced to the ASX in October 2025, the integration lets Activeport offer nationwide services without additional capital investment or operational overheads. Businesses with offices in different cities can consolidate entire networks onto a single platform, and international carriers gain streamlined tools to provision circuits that originate overseas and terminate anywhere in Australia.

“Comprehensive network access is essential to delivering a last mile service in Australia to our international carrier and data centre customers,” Activeport CEO Peter Christie said in the announcement.
